Public School, Gandhidham, which began its journey as a fledgeling in 2009 with just 130 students in the pre-primary & first standard has now attained heights in the world of education and is a reputed school of Gandhidham. The school strives to educate students so that they are ready to reach their highest potential. We aim for excellence in all that we do as we value every individual in our care and it is our aim to provide a stimulating environment in which the children can reach the highest standards of which they are capable.

Our school motto is "Re-discover the Joy of Learning" which reflects the many ways to learning that come together in our school. We inculcate Morals, Cultures and Values that are based on the principles propounded by Mahrishi Dayanand Saraswati (Founder of Arya Samaj) and Mahatma Hansraj (Founder of DAV movement in 1886).

We have a highly talented, dedicated teaching and support staff to ensure that the learning environment in our school is the best and we equip our students with the very best for life after D.A.V. We believe that children are heart of any great school. The happiness and well-being to these children is the key to future success.

Teachers work in partnership with the parents to provide the best education to each and every student as each child is valuable to us, so are the parents. The school is working towards reducing the gap between home and school so that parents and teachers are in the best possible position to support a child's learning.

D.A.V.P.S. embraces all areas of the curriculum with emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy, Arts, History, Science and Sport. We support and guide them to achieve their very best educationally, socially and physically in an environment that puts children's needs at the top of the agenda.
